worked awesome for my 74 vette.
I bought this because the seams (factory) joints in the panels were high school shop class quality. I did one front fender first and let it cure as the label suggested. I then did the other but shaped it before the fiberglass was fully cured with 40 grit. MUCH LESS WORK I will add lol. The final finish was equal.
Great product and would recommend to anyone that has a fiberglass body.
For those that are using this product as a hole filler in metal panels. STOP IT. Its not a panel maker but a filler. Fillers are used to fill minor imperfections. Not to fill (create) the missing 3 inch rust hole in your panel. However with that said I will say this. I did use this on my truck bed outer panel that had a eye brow hole over the riht side wheel well that was 10-12 inches long. I used 1/4 inch square mesh tac welded in and then used the everglass. That was a a few yrs ago and its still holding up strong after countless 4/4 and mudding excursions.

Great product!
I 've been using a fiberglass product that I had been buying from a large chain store. I bought my first gallon of Evercoat Fiberglass Filler and I quickliy notice the difference. Evercoat is easier to apply and sand. I used about half of the gallon and then bought two more. I have a lot of fiberglass work to do on my Batmobile project car and Evercoat is the only product I'm going to use.
Great stuff!
Thanks.

Questions & Answers
Can you use evercoat body filler over it
yes
Date published: 2021-05-23
How long does it take to fully cure at an ideal temperature? There are big night time temp swings in NH so how long should I let it sit until it gets cold at night (low 50s)?
If applied in temperatures 72F and above you would be able to sand this as soon as 10-15 minutes after applying it. This time will increase at lower temperatures but an exact time can not be determined.

can this be used over epoxy primer?
This should not be used over epoxy primer. It is for use on metal for finishing welded seams, rusted metal repairs, and repairing composites for filling holes in SMC/Fiberglass, and shattered fiberglass.

Can this product be used over plywood? I am looking at building a wood truck cap and wanted to use this to smooth out surface and help with making it mire water resistant and getting a better paint job vs just painting the plywood cap.
This is not recommended to use on wood. The approved substrates are:
Steel
Galvanized Steel
Aluminum
SMC
Fiberglass
Most Rigid Plastics

Have a fiberglass body and hardtop. But the contours of top do not match the contours of the body very well. Gaps ranging from 0"-->3/8" varies along the length. Would this be the right for the app? Plan is to press & fill into the void like a caulk.
You really do not want to apply a filler more than 1/4 inch inch thick. Any more than this you will sacrifice strength.

Can this be used over areas where the gelcoat has been sanded off because of height differences of the seams or along edges?
This product can be put on areas where the gel coat has been sanded off. As for along edges I would try to keep the thickness down no matter what product would be used for strength.
