Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally purchased my Plasma Cutter I farm, and own a small local welding shop. Each year I make an investment in my farm shop, and this year it was the Eastwood Versa Cut 60. It was important to me to go with the 240v version, and the 60psi unit. The weekend I got it I decided to cut apart an old DMI Chisel plow we no longer used. I set it at 60 amp, and 60psi. Holy cow, cut it apart is exactly what it did. The unit performed flawlessly, as expected. I've always been a die hard Lincoln guy, but am very very please with what this little power house can do. I will post a review after some length of time, and harder work.

I purchased the versa cut 60 and the 250i. Earlier you answered about a genarator at 12000 watts. Can a dryer outlet (30 amps) OR a generator rated at 9500 watts continuous to run these. I am only cutting and mig welding 16g sheet metal ? No 50 amp yet.

Asked by: Orangerider
This unit requires a 50 amp breaker. Anything less could burn internal components.

I have a new unit. At the end of my cuts the air still blasts for about 10 seconds after I release the trigger. Is this normal?  I didn't see anything in the manual about this being a normal condition

Asked by: Bill
This is completely normal as the machine post flows air to cool the consumables.

We stand behind our machines with no-hassle returns and an industry-leading warranty, which means you can be confident in their capabilities.

**Note: Due to the High Frequency start feature, we do not recommend using this machine on a CNC plasma table.**

Powerful Metal Cutting

You may not need to cut through super-thick metal often - but you'll know you can with the Versa Cut 60. This 220v, 50 to 60Hz, 60-amp output portable plasma cutter is designed to cut steel, aluminum and stainless steel anywhere from 0.010- to 0.875-inch thick with ease. A built-in pilot arc system allows for instant arc striking and ease of use when cutting rusty material and expanded metal. The internal moisture separator helps to ensure clean dry air gets to the torch to give you consistent results. It requires a 50-amp breaker and plugs into an appropriate wall outlet.

The Versa Cut 60 comes with a heavy-duty Mosfet inverter, internal moisture separator, 20-foot torch and 10-foot ground cable with adjustable air pressure regulator. These features and parts assure long life, accurate cuts and ease of use. It also includes a self-starting arc for use on floor panels and exhaust where rust and contaminants may be an issue. The machine has a duty cycle of 60 percent for long continuous cuts. At 45 pounds, it is light enough to bring to a friend's shop, a race track or any other place that metal needs to be cut.
