Great Paint!!I have used this product many times and it always performs well. It sprays easily, lays down smooth, and dries nice and streak free. In engine bays and smaller areas, tow coats is plenty. For an entire exterior, I think 3 coats is better.

Prefer it over powder coatingI was looking for an alternative to powder coating accessories on my truck. I used this paint for a rollbar and couldn't be happier. The paint is very durable, sprays well and has now been exposed to the outdoors in NY for a year... looks as good as the day I sprayed it.
This allows me to easily touch up the rollbar if it ever gets chipped, scratched, etc. vs. powder coating.

Even spray outSmooth/even spray out, added clear over portions to creat contrast.
Hi satin black single stage
Is it recommended to add reducer?
And
If whenmpainting, if you get runs or imperfections can you sand after first coat? Or should you do it after 3rd coat dries?
And re spray?
Thanks
Asked by: Chris
I do not reduce more than 5%, and almost never as the paint flow just fine n my gun. If you do a light coat pass first, then a wet coat. If you get a run sand it before adding more coats.

Can the be put over lacquer primer?
Asked by: Mickey
This can be used over our Lacquer based Self Etching primer. We can not guarantee compatibility between our products and products we do not sell. Every brand uses different solvents and resins at different percentages so when one brand is applied over another- there is always a chance a reaction can occur. We would have to advise you to test a small area first.
