Description
This dust collector fits the Eastwood B60 Abrasive Blast Cabinet and many other media blasters.

A powerful 12 amp 120 volt motor draws the dust and loose media out of the cabinet and catches it so you can reuse it.
Using a dust collector means you can work faster too, because you’ll be able to see what you are doing without a cloud of dust filling the cabinet. You can mount this near universal dust collector to the cabinet or to the wall, then just hook the 2” inlet to the outlet of your media blaster. The replaceable filters (#30999) stop dust up to 5 microns and collect up to 1 3/4 gallons of media, which can then be added to your cabinet and reused.

Worth the price
Great product but since it's essentially a "universal fit", they include an overwhelmingly amount of hardware and fasteners depending on your mounting setup. Overall, I'm happy with the function thus far and I'd happily have more hardware than necessary rather than not enough.

Very powerful. Good quality. It’s a good improvement for my HF blast cabinet which before I wasn’t able to see what I was doing but know my cabinet performs like a champ. I recommend this item.

So far not a single complaint
I own a firearm restoration shop that specializes in cerakote applications. I purchased this unit and paired it with a cyclone dust seperator purchased from harbor freight. Already after running well over an hour straight using 100 grit red garnet barely anything made it past the cyclone dust seperator into the eastwood dust collector. I paired up the system as such to ensure the longest filter life of the subject vacuum. On its own I'm confident it would handle the job however to really ensure long filter life and clean air coming out the unit sanding with any fine grit media do yourself the favore and get both.

Works as expected
I am overall very happy with this collector. I have the table top cabinet so mounting it on the back really didn’t work for me as it would bring my table out from the wall at least 18 inches. I ended up mounting it on the wall right next to the cabinet and it works great. My only complaint is the filter clogs up pretty quickly using glass beed. Although it has a shaker to shake the dust out of the filter, it really doesn’t do much. If they offered a filter cover to go over the filter to keep it from getting clogged this would be perfect.

Will this dust collection system work on my Eastwood table top sand blaster?
You would have to mount it to either the cabinet or on a wall near the blaster

When I turn on the dust collector it “sucks” my blast cabinet gloves off their mount.
The original ones should remain in place, please review the instructions as I have not heard that problem.
Check the suction pressure.

Can't get hose connector through hole in back of B40 cabinet. Hole is 1.5" wide but hose connector is 1.75" wide. Do I remove black rubber seal from cabinet hole to make it wide enough to accommodate hose connector? Then drill 4 mounting holes in cabinet?
I have not had to do it.
I understand th eonly way would be to fab it as you have just mentioned.

When mounted to the back of Eastwood cabinet what is the added distance or room required for the cabinet?
Let me be clear - the Cabinet is roughly 21 inches deep and the dust collector is 13 inches round, however the mounting brackets dimensions aren't mentioned, so what is the new depth for combined components: blast cabinet, dust collector and bracket?

Thank you for the reply. Is the circuit board available as a replacement? Before I order the replacement motor. I need to figure out which part has failed the motor or the circuit board.
