2K AeroSpray - Paint and Activator in one Can. Activator is
Before activating, shake aerosol vigorously for 2 min. Take red button from cap. Turn aerosol by 180 degrees and attach button to pin on aerosol bottom. Place aerosol on firm ground upside down. Press red button with the ball of your hand until stop is reached.After activating, shake aerosol again vigorously for 2 min. Pot life is 48 up to 72 hours at 68 degrees F.

Great for initial bare metal coverageI am changing the color on Jeep Wrangler half-doors and needed the epoxy primer to cover bare metal places and small dents with bondo. I put several coats of this primer on the those spots followed by complete coverage of the entire doors. It was easy to block sand and turned out perfectly. Then followed up with base coat high build primer.

Prime for best resultsAfter tedious work cleaning a pitted metal column, I had no desire to use a primer that just “covered up” all my hard work. I chose the Eastwood epoxy for ease of application, good working time after activation and full protection of metal and epoxy filler. The results were fantastic, yielding a great foundation for my top coats.

Is 2K aerospray epoxy primer good for stainless steel?

2K epoxy primer can be applied over stainless steel. However, it is essential to ensure that the stainless steel surface is properly prepared. Use a gray Scotch-Brite pad to give the stainless steel some "tooth."
Wipe the surface clean with acetone.

Whats required for the proper application of a base coat after using this product?

You can apply a top coat after 30 minutes and up to 48 hours after applying the primer.
If more than 48 hours have passed, the surface must be scuffed with a red Scotch-Brite pad or 320-grit sandpaper to ensure proper adhesion of the top coat.
