This standard aerosol can contains the paint and activator, but the activation doesn’t occur until they are sprayed out of the can and hit the air and become a highly durable two component coating, just like you would typically mix and spray out of a paint gun.

Cover any part of your car with a shiny, lasting finish using our 2K DuraSpray™ Black Gloss Spray Paint. Our patent-pending 2K aerosol technology produces a professional-looking finish without an air compressor or HVLP spray gun. An epoxy paint formula automatically mixes perfectly with a hardener catalyst for a great coating that’s polishable after 12 hours. The paint resists common automotive chemicals and temperatures up to 300 degrees — all with a Deep Noire Gloss black spray paint finish that’s ideal for suspension and chassis parts.
Use this high-gloss black spray paint on bare steel, aluminum, prepared finish and even most plastics for a shiny OEM look. You can apply DuraSpray Spray Paint Black finish over primer, but it’s not necessary for an enduring finish. It’s the easiest option available for DIYers with no straining, filtering or messy clean-up. Each can covers 27 square feet, which is plenty for small projects or touch-up work. For best durability and chemical resistance this paint must be topcoated with Eastwood DuraSpray Clearcoat.
Drying and curing times may be affected by temperature and humidity and will take longer to fully cure in cool, dry environments. Multiple lighter, thin coats will provide the best results. Apply thin coats until fully covered.
